Can this part of the blog become a curated collection of great workspace/place examples? And I don’t necessarily mean those übercool corporate HQs that turn up in every predictable list of so-called great workspaces, or necessarily any of those shiny examples of ‘cutting-edge’ workspace design that find their way into glossy coffee-table editions, TV documentaries and industry award ceremonies. I mean those that aren’t yet accepted as part of the dominant narrative; perhaps those that represent a more human-scale, ‘lived experience’ of workspace and place. What can we learn if we lift our gaze, refocus, and explore behind glossy design and fancy furniture?
